This series consists of weekly reports to Governor Taft from approximately thirty state agencies such as Departments of Education, Health, and Natural Resources. The reports include updates on projects, information on meetings and events held during the previous week and upcoming meetings and events, and information on pertinent pending legislation. The series also includes weekly reports from the Governor's executive assistants and administrative department heads. In addition the series also includes weekly summaries of constituent correspondence including the number of letters, faxes, emails, and phone calls received, the topics of the correspondence, and samples of the correspondence. The series also consists of Agency Status Reports filed by Kate Bartter, Chief Policy Advisor to Governor Taft. These reports were submitted to the governor by state agency directors or their assistants and describe departmental projects or activities. The reports also include operating summaries, statistics, and updates that help to document each agency's ability to carry out the administration's policies.
